What we collect and why
ProfitLine collects your account details, country, work-experience information, optional resume, video audition, application status, and onboarding records. We use this information to create and secure your account, operate the application and contractor-onboarding experience, assign the appropriate training path, communicate with you, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and administer an activated contractor relationship.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, ProfitLine processes this information to take steps at your request before entering a contract, perform an agreement with you, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform.
Retention
Video auditions are scheduled for deletion 24 hours after submission. Raw resumes are scheduled for deletion 30 days after hire. Interrupted uploads expire on shorter operational schedules. A narrowly scoped legal hold can pause a scheduled deletion when legally required.
Completed contractor agreements, tax forms, and signing evidence are encrypted and retained while the contractor relationship is active and ordinarily for seven years after the later of termination or final payment. ProfitLine may retain an exact record longer only when required for a documented audit, dispute, investigation, tax obligation, or legal hold. Structured lifecycle, security, email-delivery, and audit records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for their operational or legal purpose.
Service providers and international processing
ProfitLine operates from the United States. If you apply from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and may be processed where ProfitLine's contracted service providers operate. ProfitLine uses service providers for infrastructure and private storage, transactional email, security, and payout onboarding, and uses contractual or other safeguards required by applicable law for restricted international transfers.
Bank routing and account numbers are entered directly into Mercury's hosted payout flow and are never stored on the profitline.ai platform. Service providers may process information only for the services they provide, subject to their agreements and applicable law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to complain to your local data-protection authority.
